Dr. Eric Maranda, MD FAADBoard-Certified Dermatologist | Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Eric L. Maranda is the founder of Yellowstone Dermatology Associates. He is board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He is appointed as active Fellow by the American Academy of Dermatology.
Having trained in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Maranda brings extensive experience from his years serving the nation’s top hospitals in dermatologic care. In addition, Dr. Maranda completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.
Through his rigorous training through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and throughout residency, Dr. Maranda has refined his skills as a Dermatologic and Mohs surgeon.
His stellar educational achievements include completion of a Dermatology Research Fellowship at University of Miami and holds, among many past honors, “Magna Cum Laude” and “Honors in Research Distinction”. In prior years, he also completed research projects at Florida International University, University of California- Berkeley, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He has published over 40 book chapters and manuscripts in top peer reviewed journals and has delivered oral and poster presentations in many distinguished national dermatology and surgical conferences.
Dr. Maranda is an active service leader. During medical school, he took a sabbatical to study cell therapy to help burn victims at Ryder Trauma Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He has been involved in community outreach and teaching services and participated in multi-year medical missions traveling to Managua, Nicaragua. Since 2012, he has actively been involved with serving underprivileged populations in South Florida through programs affiliated with University of Miami. In addition, he has volunteered in numerous free skin cancer screenings and provided tutoring services to developmentally delayed students in association with the Boys and Girls Club of the Seminole Indian Reservation.
Dr. Maranda is trilingual in English, Portuguese and Spanish. He is also an active member of the following organizations: American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Mohs Surgery, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and Montana Medical Association. In his private time, Dr. Maranda enjoys traveling, scuba diving and fishing.
Nicole Will, PA-CCertified Physician Assistant
Nicole Will, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. During her training, Nicole participated in the AHEC Scholars Program, reflecting her commitment to service, leadership, and improving access to care in rural and underserved communities.
Born and raised near the twin cities of Minnesota, Nicole’s interest in dermatology began while working as a medical assistant in a well established dermatology clinic. She assisted with skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and surgical repairs, gaining hands-on procedural experience and a deep appreciation for trust that patients place in their dermatology providers. She has a particular interest in acne management, skin cancer detection, and empowering patients through education and prevention.
In addition to her clinical training, Nicole has a strong background in service and caregiving. She volunteered as a dental assistant at a non-profit clinic serving remote populations, supported wildlife medical care at a rehabilitation center, and worked as a personal care assistant for a patient with dementia. These experiences helped shape her compassionate approach to patient care and strengthened her ability to serve patients with chronic medical and emotional conditions.
With her approachable demeanor, calm presence, and advocacy for patients, Nicole values building long-term relationships and helping patients feel informed and comfortable with their care. Nicole joined Yellowstone Dermatology Associates in January of 2026 and continues to work closely with Dr. Maranda, valuing mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning as she grows within the specialty of dermatology.
In her private time, Nicole enjoys hiking, traveling and camping with her fiancé and their German Shorthaired Pointer puppy."
